Sheena is no ordinary foundling.
Ancient legends told of a child who would come from the sky to save the

It is through Don Felipe that Sheena was able to learn to communicate with the animals of the jungle --
including YAGUA, a 300-pound jet-black jaguar Sheena raised from a cub;
CHIM, a smart and mischievous muriqui; and PETE, an 180-year-old Macaw
parrot who's Sheena’s eyes in the sky.
Sheena's control of her own body defies that of Indian fakirs or Mr. Spock; she can ignore pain, feign death, hold her breath for 10 minutes... in short, without entering the realm of the fantastic, she pushes the envelope of what is humanly possible.
